New Market Exporter Initiatiive

ISEA and the U.S. & Foreign Commercial Service (US&FCS) have joined forces to help members expand export sales through the New Market Exporter Initiative (NMEI).
 
This personalized program will help ISEA members grow sales around the world.  It’s designed for companies that are currently exporting and want to expand into new countries and markets, and companies that are ready to export and are looking for the right opportunity.  Through the NMEI, they can take advantage of the worldwide resources of U.S. government trade specialists who can match them with distributors and customers looking for specific U.S.-made products.
 
The NMEI program features:

• Free identification of export markets
• Free trade counseling, market intelligence and trade advocacy.
• Free market research: The US&FCS research library contains more than 100,000 industry and country-specific market reports, authored by specialists working in overseas posts.
• Cost-effective business matchmaking services to connect US suppliers with the right partners and prospects.  These services include screening potential distributors, setting up meetings in-country, providing guidance on local business practices and regulations, organizing trade missions, training and more.

The US&FCS has set up a special Web page where ISEA members can register for the program.  When member companies register, they will be contacted by a Trade Information Center specialist within in 3-5 days, and referred to a US&FCS account specialist at one of the 109 offices around the country.  The account specialists will discuss the clients' business, products and goals, and help them identify new export markets.  They they will work with ISEA memebrs and trade specialists in the U.S. Embassies and Consulates to find potential partners in the target overseas markets.
