COVID-19 has fundamentally changed how we do business. Practices have pivoted, and priorities have shifted. Given these dramatic changes, how can we expect to navigate this new world in the years ahead?
In this ISEA Annual Meeting virtual presentation, Bernard Baumohl, chief global economist at The Economic Outlook Group, will offer insights into the permanent effects of this global pandemic and where the economy is headed.
He’ll cover topics that include:
- The outlook for consumer and business spending
- Where interest rates, energy prices, and the US dollar will affect the market
- Impacts the presidential election will have on the economy over the next few years
- Which economic and geopolitical risks pose the next greatest threats
Baumohl is well known for being ahead of the curve in assessing the direction of the US and world economies. The Wall Street Journal ranked him as the most accurate economic forecaster in 2018. In addition to his current role as chief global economist, Baumohl is on the faculty of the New York Institute of Finance, where he conducts seminars on how forward-looking economic indicators can help business leaders better foresee turning points in the economy.
