The ISEA Scholarship Fund has been established by the International Safety Equipment Association to recognize and encourage student achievement and leadership. It supports two scholarship programs:
- The General Scholarship was established to recognize and financially assist talented young people, in achieving their fullest potential. This scholarship is awarded each year to a deserving student who is about to enter his/her junior or senior year at an accredited college or university in the United States taking courses leading to a bachelor’s degree. Eligible applicants are the children of employees of ISEA member companies.
- The Daniel K. Shipp Scholarship was created in 2017 to recognize the contribution that Mr. Shipp has made to ISEA and the safety and health of American workers during his 24 years as President of ISEA. This scholarship is awarded annually to a student in an accredited college or university, pursuing a baccalaureate degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene or a related field.
The scholarship awards are based on academic and extra-curricular achievement and financial need, and the recipients are selected by independent review panels unaffiliated with the ISEA. The ISEA Scholarship Fund is supported by tax-deductible contributions from individuals and organizations, and is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) exempt organization.
Interested applicants can apply through the application forms provided by ISEA. Review the following pages for more information on individual scholarship guidelines, benefits and application datelines:
