Mr. Simkins has more than 25 years of applied occupational health and safety experience.

Mr. Simkins has worked as an  Operations Safety Manger for Frito-Lay North America, providing direct health and safety support. Mr. Simkins depth of knowledge in the applied health and safety field is extensive stems from his broad work experiences. Prior to his management position with Frito-Lay, Mr. Simkins consulted, providing health and safety advice to businesses in the private and public sectors. He also directed Orr Safety Corporation’s Professional Services Group, of Industrial Hygienists and Safety Consultants. Mr. Simkins’ career also includes corporate management of environmental, industrial hygiene and safety affairs for Vermont American Corporation, a BOSCH Company.

Mr. Simkins has a B.S. in Public Health, an M.S. in Chemical Engineering and an M.S. in Environmental Science. He is a Board Certified Safety Professional and a Registered Environmental Professional. He is also an associate member of the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists,  a professional member of the American Society of Safety Engineers and the American Industrial Hygiene Association.
