The National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls in Construction takes place across the country May 2-6. The purpose of the stand-down is to raise awareness of preventing falls in the construction industry. Fatalities caused by falls from elevation continue to be a leading cause of death for construction workers.
OSHA’s website features an interactive map of events across 10 regions that are free and open to the public to participate in national events.
Visit OSHA’s resource website for a list of stand-down events including a list of no-cost events being held at OSHA Training Institute Education Centers.
