Shortly thereafter, member companies began to state in their national advertising that “the manufacturers who display the seal of the Industrial Safety Equipment Association recognize fully their responsibilities in the making and selling of equipment designed to prevent accidents and save lives, and provide safety equipment conforming to peak standards, quality, manufacture and value.”
