The International Safety Equipment Association (ISEA) announces that 73 sales and marketing professionals from safety equipment manufacturing and distribution companies were awarded the Qualified Safety Sales Professional (QSSP) designation in the fourth quarter of 2018. Each professional completed one of two intensive five-day courses in the technical and regulatory fundamentals of workplace safety and health, held in and October and November in Durham, NC. The QSSP program is designed to provide an understanding to sales and marketing professionals about challenges employers and workers face about hazardous conditions on the job and help provide viable solutions.
Since 1996, over 1900 safety equipment marketing and sales personnel have earned the QSSP designation. The course, sponsored by ISEA, is taught by a faculty of safety experts.
