Impact of Stress, Fatigue & Burnout on Workplace Safety: The World Health Organization upgraded its definition of burnout in 2022 giving it the classification of “Disease.” They are calling it “an occupational phenomenon” that comes from “chronic workplace stress that has not been successfully managed”. Burnout has a similar impact on safety as does Complacency. This class will help safety professionals understand this phenomenon and how to help their clients recognize the symptoms and manage this potential disease at work. This is a great “value-added” tool for all QSSPs.
