ISEA Announces New Board Members at Annual Meeting

ISEA Chair Nate Kogler

(Arlington, Virginia – December 5, 2023) Nate Kogler, Vice President of Products and Engineering with Bradley Corporation, was elected Chair of the Board of Trustees of the International Safety Equipment Association (ISEA) at the group’s annual meeting in Arlington, Virginia, December 4, 2023. Kelly Kolb, Senior Business Development Manager at Kimberly-Clark, was elected Vice Chair.

Wells Bullard, President and CEO of Bullard, was elected ISEA Board Treasurer. Additional new Trustees elected include Greg Martin of MSA Safety, Todd VanHouten of Cintas, and Eric Adamson of DFP Safety.

Bradley Corporation is a longtime active member of ISEA, and Kogler joined the ISEA Board as a Trustee in 2015. Kogler became the Board’s first Treasurer in 2019, and his leadership was instrumental in improving the organization’s financial performance and discipline. He’s served as Vice Chair since 2022. Nate has also been an active member of ISEA’s Emergency Eyewash & Shower Product Group, engaged in drafting and publishing multiple revisions of the ANSI/ISEA Z358.1 American National Standard for Emergency Eyewash and Shower Equipment.

ISEA Vice Chair Kelly Kolb

“I’m very much looking forward to serving as Chair of the ISEA Board of Trustees,” said Kogler. “The need for high quality and standardized personal protective and safety equipment in the workplace has never been greater, and ISEA is where this critical work happens. Thanks to the leadership of our outgoing Chair Tom Votel, ISEA is heading into 2024 with a solid foundation of success, excellent staff, and a healthy balance sheet. We look forward to the contributions and guidance of our new Trustees, Eric, Todd, and Greg. I’m honored to lead our board, and I couldn’t be more excited for what lies ahead.”

Continuing members of the ISEA Board are Immediate Past Chair Tom Votel, President & CEO of Ergodyne; Elke Hirschman, General Manager of Kishigo; Brian Myers, Vice President of Regulatory Strategy of 3M; and John Wilson, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing of Draeger.

Members rotating off the ISEA Board are Rodney Taylor, Director of Sales at Watson Gloves, Rick Sustello, Senior Advisor at SureWerx and ISEA Immediate Past Chair Craig Wallentine.

ISEA President & CEO Cam Mackey said, “We’re grateful for the great work that Craig, Rodney, and Rick have done to advance ISEA’s mission during their Board service. The industry knowledge, passion and sweat equity they’ve contributed have made ISEA a stronger organization. I look forward to working closely with Nate, our Executive Committee, and all our great Trustees to build off the strong foundation already in place and to help lead an advancing world of occupational safety, knowing their hard work can lead to millions of workers going home safe every day.”
