The Fall Meeting is ISEA’s largest national meeting. It’s a time for product groups and committees to do the essential work of the association – developing standards, formulating policy positions and planning for the future. It’s also a time for member company representatives to network with peers in the industry.
Meeting Highlights
The 2015 ISEA Fall Meeting will kick off with a full-day of product group and committee sessions focusing on standards development, association growth, and increasing end-user engagement through awareness and education. ISEA will honor Richard Duffy, renowned firefighter safety expert, with the Robert B. Hurley Distinguished Service Award, at the association’s annual Award Dinner.
General Session: By attending the Fall Meeting, you’ll hear from Assistant Secretary of Labor for OSHA, Dr. David Michaels, about regulatory updates and activities. David Goch, Partner at leading Washington DC law firm Webster, Chamberlain & Bean, will discuss the flurry of employment labor laws stemming from Executive Orders, and the implications to employers and workers. Leann Paradise, Manager of External Relations from the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) will discuss how to build political power through plant tours and round tables, and effective strategies to increase your influence and visibility.
Luncheon: Howard Fineman, Global Editorial Director of the Huffington Post, and analyst for NBC and MSNBC will provide his keen and unique insights and political analysis.
