Can you believe we’re already entering the last month of Q1, with spring right around the corner? In fact, we’re on Cherry Blossoms Watch here in Washington as they are expected reach peak bloom record-early this year. (By the way, if you plan to be in town to celebrate this international festival, please stop by and see us!).
Actually, at ISEA, we can believe it. Over the last two months, we’ve put several things into motion to grow the value we deliver to you and your teams.

New Webinars
We kicked off our webinar series last month with sessions on product management and voice of customer. I’m happy to report these are receiving high praise and positive feedback. One member said these “should be a must for executive and leadership teams.” We have upcoming sessions on Product Management skills, PFAS, and sustainability.
Remember, these are open to any employee of an ISEA member organization.
New Newsletters
This year we launched three new member-exclusive newsletters:
- ISEA Update | A monthly newsletter to keep you engaged and informed with our actions and activities.
- Washington Report | A monthly newsletter to give you the “so what” on regulatory and legislative activities.
- EU Regulatory Update | A quarterly newsletter to call out the most important policy and standards issues coming out of the European Union.
New Product Group
ISEA has launched its new Heat Stress product group for members that manufacture and supply cooling solutions. This group will work to advocate for cooling solutions and heat stress mitigation in the workplace and explore opportunities for a Heat Stress Solutions performance standard. To date, 12 members have confirmed participation in the group, and we will solicit nominations for Chair and Vice Chair in the coming month.
New QSSP Courses
Due to high demand (the April course is sold out), ISEA has added two additional QSSP courses to our 2023 line up:

- August 7-11 (In-Person)
- 11-14 (Live Virtual)

Shooting for the Stars
At our Executive Summit (Apr 30 – May 2), members will visit NASA’s Space Center Houston for a private event in the Space Gallery, where they will enjoy cocktails, dinner, exclusive access to VR and motion simulators and the opportunity to mingle with Commander Dominic Antonelli, a veteran of two space flights.
