To meet the needs of growing interest in occupational safety and solutions to protect workers, ISEA has redesigned its website to serve as THE online resource for information and insights about the equipment and technologies that keep workers safe.
What We Did
We audited the old ISEA website to learn which pages and areas of the site were frequented most, taking into account the large traffic increase driven by the pandemic. We also reviewed and compared website site maps and traffic data from other safety stakeholder sites and trade associations, examining the hottest topics and engagement experiences. We then designed and built a new site to serve as the face and voice of the global safety equipment community.
What You’ll See
You can explore Worker Protections by product category, where you’ll find performance standards, OSHA regulations, a listing of product group members, and additional resources for each category, including fact sheets, info graphics, selection guides, and more.
In the Insights area, you can read about ISEA’s advocacy efforts and key industry issues we’re currently addressing. Here you can also measure the impact of the safety equipment industry in your area or learn about the member-exclusive market data analysis program. You can also access the latest safety news and insights in the Newsroom.
Those looking for all things standards will find a listing of all ANSI/ISEA product standards, information about how standards are developed and why they matter, and how to demonstration PPE and safety requirements have been met with conformity assessment tools.
The website also provides access to register for upcoming events, such as QSSP or QSSP Advanced training course, webinars free to all ISEA members, and major events such as the upcoming Executive Summit. Visit ISEA’s Event Calendar often to stay engaged virtually and in-person throughout the year.
So. Much. More. Please browse the site to learn more about how ISEA benefits its members and the industry, and how members can stay engaged, and where users can find the equipment they need to keep workers safe
What’s for Members?
The website will also serve as an online hub and portal for members and association leaders to access resources available only those in the ISEA community.
Members will have their own profile in the online member portal. There they can update their contact information, upload a headshot and other information for a more personalized experience. Members will see which product groups or committees they belong to, events they are registered to attend or have attended in the past, and more.
In the member portal, product group members will have access to shared information and resources for the groups in which they participate. There all group members can review meeting minutes, current and draft standards, upcoming meetings, and other information the group may require.
In February, be on the lookout for communication from ISEA on how to enter the member portal and access resources curated for your association roles.
What Do You Think?
We’d love your thoughts and feedback on the new website.
- Have you found it to be user-friendly?
- Is there additional core information about our industry and association we should consider including?
- Have you seen corrections to be made under your profile in the Buyer’s Guide or elsewhere on the site?
Please send any and all feedback on the website to Nicole Randall at nrandall@safetyequipment.org.
